Interview with Muhammad Ismail From

In this Interview series, I interviewed one of the Top bloggers from Pakistan Muhammad Ismail from Ismailblogger.

Muhammad Ismail is from Peshawar and known as the one of a top blogger from Pakistan.

Ismail, I am thrilled to have you here tell our readers about yourself and your blogs?

Thank you, Sharjeel, for considering me worthy of sharing my story.

I always wanted to do something to change my lifestyle, to be honest, I wasn’t satisfied with the lifestyle I was living in, in fact, nobody is human nature to not to be happy with what you have.

I always believed that you are your own hero, only you can rescue yourself no one else can do it for you.

When I was in my teens, I started doing little businesses like selling notes and books to my classmates by this, I started saving up a little.

Selling notes got me motivated, and I pushed myself a little further. After that, I started selling mobile phones and their accessories.

People started calling me the Mobile Guru. But I didn’t stop there; my passion didn’t let me finish. But unfortunately life turned in the opposite direction, and things happened beyond my planes.

My father passed away, and everything around me completely changed in a manner I never thought. People around me started seeing me differently; they behaved differently, my whole world turned upside down.

How you came into blogging?

Somehow I managed to complete my Intermediate; I then got admission in IMSciences (Institute of Management Sciences) Peshawar.

Meantime I was also facing financial crises due to the death of my father and had no idea that how will I solve this all.

Although I got admission in IMSciences but had no idea how will I manage my fee expenses!

This was when my online journey started. I was a guy who didn’t have any idea about the internet or how one can earn online.

People find it hard to believe sometimes, but it’s true. One day I got a text from an unknown company ‘If you want to earn money online send your email address.’

This was the turning point. Then I created my email with the help of a friend as I said before I had no idea how the Internet works. But as they say ‘Where there is a WILL there is a WAY.’

What were your failures, and what did you learn from it?

After creating the email account, I started working for PTC (paid to click). With 7 months of hard work and investing quite an amount, I came to know that this business is spam and is of no use.

Then I spent rest of my savings in another niche that was quite popular at that time called HYIP (High yield investment programs) (Double shah in Pakistan is the clear example of HYIP business model).

There I generated more than $3000/- (Rs 300000) In 45 days. But after a few days, I came to know that earning money through this method is HARAM and the loss ratio is higher than profit. So again, I was from where I started, it was my second failure.

After quitting my work on HYIP, I worked in some other fields which including:

Sharing crack version software’s for learning purposes, this business also flopped, and I failed again.

Then I created a blog with the name of, here I got sued for using a name of registered trademark of some other company, another failure.

I got depressed, and I felt like stuck in the deep black tunnel, but then I saw a light, a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel I was trapped in.

As I was searching for different online ways to earn money I came across Blogging, though I was disappointed and frustrated, I pushed myself to give it a try. And that’s how I created my very first blog by the name of TechVela.

What do you think is the ideal working environment and struggles that helped you in blogging as well who has impacted most in blogging?

After all phase of failure, I started socializing with positive people, who motivated me.

I chose to sit with right people because one thing is for sure if you are surrounded by the right people you surely do succeed and feel happy and positive rather than sitting with the whiners who do nothing but curse their lives and many other things,

so always make sure to sit in such an environment where there are right people who motivate you and encourage you to do better in life.

By choosing the right community I slowly started walking on the path of success and hard work, now I had a clear vision and aim in my mind that what I have to do and how I can guide them to do something for themselves and not make the mistakes which I came across at the beginning of my online journey.

By the Grace of ALLAH, my hard work paid off. Today I am a successful entrepreneur, Blogger, Motivational Speaker, and a Freelancer.

Who has impacted you most in blogging, and how?

Mustafa Ahmadzai of Mybloggertricks, Harsh Agarwal of shout me loud, Kulwantnaqi of Bloggingcage, Spencer Haws of the nichepersuite, and Pat Flynn of Smart Passive income are some of the names who inspired me in my blogging career and motivated me to do something.

Tell me about your proudest achievement?

Well, I would say, I counted all those things that boosted me to do something more, even the blogs who ranked me in Pakistan Pro bloggers list. (Thanks to them).

In 2013, I was selected as incubating at Entrepreneurship development center, meantime, a new blog ranked me in Pakistan top 12 bloggers list in 2013, and top 10 bloggers listed in 2014.

I created and sold several successful blogs, including my first one named Techvela.

After some time, I got featured on onTechJuice and Tribune that motivated me to do more. A positive vibe was running through my veins, and I told myself this is the time to give it back to the community.

Then in 2014, I started my volunteer work at Entrepreneurship development center at Institute of Management Sciences by arranging different seminars on freelancing, blogging, apps and games development to educate more and more people toward Internet business.

What is your greatest achievement outside of blogging?

My greatest achievement outside blogging life is the support I am providing to my family with the money earned online and offline. As I am working with different organizations now as the motivational speaker.

The second achievement is that I am now working with The KP ITB (Khyber information technology board) as the training coordinator of the KP Youth Employment program.

Where our target is to teach freelancing and Vlogging (Youtube money making mechanism) to 40,000 technical and non-technical people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Proudest moments

I was invited on TV channels named Kay2 and Khyber News to talk about blogging and freelancing, and then my biggest dream came true when I went to US Google Conference 2015 nominated by Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar, Pakistan.

Tell me about mentor Pakistan?

A Mentor is a group of specialists whose collective vision is to help build tech-related businesses on a global scale.

The group specializes in areas comprising entrepreneurship, web development, graphic design, SEO, hacking, and coding.

The Mentors Pakistan deliver training and run a co-working space where they groom new and existing startups for a global scale.

We, not only, train and develop businesses but, also, retain the best talent as mentors to further strengthen our network of mentors.

What do you do in your spare time?

Honestly speaking, I do research all day to learn something more to benefit society.

Apart from that, I play video games (taken 6 and Fifa 2016) with my freelance friends when I get bored, read books, and spend time with family.

People think blogging is an easy way to make money online do you have some tips for them what would you like to say it to those people?

Through my entire Entrepreneurial journey, I had several failures, I had ups and downs, and I saw highs and lows, and that’s what life is.

I pushed myself to do more, I picked myself when I was low. I simply learned from mistakes and kept on moving forward with my passion and dedication and the prayers of my Mother.

I have only one lesson for those who think that they don’t have any skills or they can’t do anything.

So let me tell them it is always possible, nothing is impossible. All you need to have is two things passion and dedication. If a guy like me who didn’t even know how to make an email, can do it so why not you.

I found my purpose. I found my strength, and now I want you to find yours! Start your own Journey toward successful blogging today, and inspire others.

How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?

The best way to earn money with your authority blog is to start niche blogging. I am a firm believer in one thing.

You will perform better if you have money earned from the field you are working, and that’s why I made the team who has excellent skills and started working a few weeks ago.

Let’s see the result, I will share the updates with my followers at Bloggingdesk regularly from next month.

Well, thank you, brother, for your most crucial time for this little blog I appreciated.
